VOTING OPTIONS
below are several scenarios for successful voting.
scenario one: mail-in ballot issues
If you have applied for a mail-in ballot, you may not vote a standard ballot at your polling location, but you may be permitted to vote a provisional ballot. If you are experiencing mail-in ballot issues, one of the following contingency plans may apply to you:
If you have applied for a mail-in ballot but sent it back to the county via USPS too late and believe it will arrive after Election Day, you may be permitted to vote a provisional ballot at your polling location. Check the status of your ballot here before going to the polls.
If you have applied for a mail-in ballot, but did not send it back to the county via USPS, you can deliver the completed ballot to your county’s drop box noted in Scenario One.
If you never received your mail-in ballot from the county or received the wrong ballot, you will be permitted to vote a provisional ballot at your polling location.
Scenario two: vote by mail
If you applied to vote by mail before May 26, you will receive a ballot to complete and return. It is too late to send your ballot back via USPS. Here is how you should return your ballot:
Secure Drop Box - Return your completed & sealed ballot directly to the county in which you are a voter on or before Election Day.
Delaware County voters may return their completed & sealed ballots to any Delaware County polling location on Election Day. Voters may also return their completed & sealed ballots to the Delaware Co. Government Center at 201 W. Front Street, Media PA 19063 on Election Day from 8:30a.m. to 8:00p.m.)
Lower Merion voters may return their completed ballots to Lower Merion Administration Building - 75 E. Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore PA - available 9am - 8pm on June 2 or the lobby of One Montgomery Plaza - 425 Swede Street, Norristown, PA 19041 (Parking is available for free at the Airy Street parking lot at the corner of Airy and Dekalb Streets. Drop off is available 7am - 8pm daily through June 2, 2020).
Scenario three: vote in person
If you did not request a mail-in ballot and plan on voting in person on Election Day, your polling location may have changed. To find your new polling location directly, click here. Polls are open from 7AM - 8PM.
