2010 Endorsements

State Rep. Greg Vitali

The Delco Times endorses Greg Vitali for State Representative:

Delaware County Daily Times Editorial, Oct. 28, 2010

166th District: Democrat Greg Vitali has forged a reputation as one of the state’s leading environmental voices, a person who works in large part behind the scenes to get things done, often times because having his name attached creates controversy. He is once again being opposed by Republican John Williamson, who again is sounding a warning bell about the state’s high tax rates and out-of-control spending. But he opposes a tax on Marcellus Shale, fearing it would kill the opportunity to grow jobs. Vitali urges a fair tax on the extraction, while still holding companies’ feet to the fire to care for the state’s environment. We believe Vitali’s voice is one direly needed in Harrisburg. He earns our endorsement.
